Positivo’s Helio and Roland are in the moment on tour with the Italian Cooperation and their program CinemArena, giving two shows in the province of Maputo. The first show on Tuesday happened in a small village called Buna in the municipality of Manhica, and tonight they will play in Michafutene, between Marracuene and Maputo. Positivo joined in only at the end of a 45-day megatour of CinemArena, mostly to gain continuity to the two institution’s collaboration and to reduce the amount of ’saudades’ that CinemArena felt during the Positivo absence…..

Wait, I am closing the tent, many animals are coming in. It’s not easy to catch them. Everything fine, but it’s raining. It started to rain when we set up the screen.
What is the name of the place ?
Hey, so many animals are coming inside ! Ugly animals : spiders, scorpions and dangerous stuff. Ok the tent is closed now. We stay in a rural district. Inhambane looks like a commercial center compared to this. We are in Moçimboa da Praia, 200 kms north of Pemba, close to the Tanzanian border. The day before we played in a village called Quelimane, 18 kms from Moçimboa da Praia. Yesterday we played in a ‘bairro’ of Moçimboa and it started to rain after our show, so we came back today, but the rain got stronger and nothing happened.

Helio and Roland are on the way to Pemba, to spend another 20 days with the guys from CinemArena from the Italian Cooperation. They will play about 6 gigs up there in the north in the districts around Pemba. In the meanwhile the CD “No Time” is being pressed in Pretoria and ready to pick up after the return from Pemba.
