Breaking tabus ? What about recording an african gospel on how difficult it is to be faithful in life, and off course how safer it is to pass HIV-test aor use condoms ? This was done on 24th of June 2009 by Inhambane’s Council’s workers and choral group with POSITIVO, GTZ and BOM DIA Studio. A ceremony was given on the same night in ZOOM disco to launch the new song in Bitonga (local dialect), just before POSITIVO and Lyzha James concerts. On the next day, celebrating Independance of Mozambique, POSITIVO and Lyzha James gave a public concert on Ferroviario sport field of Inhambane. And again, Inhambane ? POSITIVO !
On 22nd of June 2009, the winner of Marrabenta Contest Big Boss inaugurated brand new BOM DIA Studio in Casa da Cultura de Inhambane by recording 3 songs with Roland Mundungaze. Parabens to him.
Amazing ! After so many dancing groups claimed for demonstration on stage during last event, a dance contest was organized on the 20th of June 2009 in Cine-Teatro Tofo. 11 groups competed, seeing the victory of single and stylished dancer Mufana Vanga, and the girls group Uracha. The contest lasted for 4h30, various artists performed in front of a crowed room, including Marrabenta Winner of May Big Boss. Due to time reasons, the Kwait battle was reported to next event, marked on 1st of August. The team welcomes Elton, drummer from Lakalaka, and MC Feijao, who lost his voice. Winners gained recordings with BOM DIA Studio and free tickets for Lyzha James concert in Inhambane. Inhambane ? POSITIVO !
