In July, indeed, we :
Installed the studio in Turbodeli’s atelier,
cleaned and built our recording room,
recorded all Positivo songs + 2 new ones :
« o macaco do carro (give the rice back) »,
« African man needing a schengen visa »,
gave our first concert in Vienna with the help of Rania,
somehow even managed to get ourselves together without Darren and Helen,
who we miss very much.
We ate mushrooms, sauerkraut mit senf, knödels from the grand-parents.
We broke and fixed a saxophone,
had interesting laughs and ridiculous fights,
ate or drank arounf fires.
We gave a second concert at Nuke Festival
after the Chemical Brothers and before Lenny Kravitz,
playing good music even without Joao, Vince, Isabel and Paul,
who we miss very much.
We played with Raymond from Jamaïca,
Bernd and Ludwig from Turbodeli.
We made fun of Max, found Sonia very beautiful,
Admired Djibra’s diving style,
Swam in a frozen river, visited Vienna
And gave our third concert at night in Innsbruck,
1900 meters high under a tent,
Georges des toilettes distributing free coffees,
Coco and Saray spreading joy inside the cable car to the summit.
Now come the last days of our tour.
On friday and sunday, we play in Vienna.
On thursday and saturday, we finish the recordings.
Next week, some of us will play in Swaziland
While others will find love in Barcelona.
Our last 4 days are coming now and we’ll live them
As if they were one, and us more than a million.
