Tomorrow is World Aids Day. 1st of December. If Positivo has alreadyannouced a big event for 2008, Positivos are active now…
Helen Smith and Darren Clark are sitting in a boat to Maxixe this morning.Packed and driving crazy, they will head to Funhaloro before looking forhypothetic transport on 100 kms of non-existing track to Chigubo, where theywill meet the boys. Great surprise. 250 kms in total.
Helio D. and Roland Pickl have not been reached for days:
there is no phonein Chigubo. A Positivo special event will be hold with CinemArena and localgroups for World Aids Day. No doubt the boys are busy rehearsing songs, dances and drums on Changane riverside at the moment.Rehearsing too, João Marime and Pierre Dufloo are preparing a reggae concertin Inhambane. Officials will attend the show. The band will include theJusticeiros of Inhambane and a canadian volunteer on slide guitar.
Eventually, Dave Charley’s new movie of Homoine Workshop is on its way toMaputo. 10 minutes of Positivo at its best for a prime time on nationaltelevision. The song ‘Vamos-la’ brings up the necessity to use condoms. At atime when dissonant but still influent voices want Mozambicans to believethat condoms bring diseases, Positivo will beat the truth for the country’s eyes and ears.
Positively loud on World Aids Day,Positivo.
